Naked Palettes!

Last night I was surprised by my husband to make a trip to Ulta and what girl who loves makeup going to say no. Early in the day I had sent him a link for a palette from Urban Decay that was on sale. That is what lead stuff to Ulta to begin with. Once we got there they didn't have it anymore and it was one of those moment that my heart drops and I shouldn't have waited so long to break down and get it. Once I said it wasn't there anymore he look at me and said well is there something else you want and I questioned him. He let me pick out something that I want as a early birthday gift since his order plans fell though. I was excited because they had the Naked 3 in stock and I could not help myself! I had talked myself into thinking I wasn't getting it and that I didn't need it but, come on if you loved any of the other palettes you know you wanted to get your hands on it! Last night after we got home I was think about the palettes and what I went though getting the others and what would go though someones head looking at the palettes. I was thinking back to when I first bought a palette from them and not knowing if I was going to love it or not.

I did not buy the first Naked palette I started getting into Urban Decay when the Basics palette came out and I am glad I got this one first. It was an opening into the company and it wasn't a break the bank palette and for a person starting into higher end makeup this was a great start for me. I used the crap out of this palette but it doesn't seem to look like it. The colors Naked 2 and Faint I love out of this palette and they make great crease colors for me. After loving this I started looking into Naked 1 and 2.

(Yes that is a cat in the mirror. she likes to get in pictures anyway she can.)

I ended up going with Naked 2! For me I love to play around with warm and cool colors together and the first one was warm and I already had a lot of warm colors in my make up collection and wanted to go with something that was a little different. It makes lots of different looks and what is great about the palettes is you can use and mix them all together. I loved this palette so much that I bought my mom and gave it to her as I love you gift. She loves it and uses it everyday. Some of my favorite colors are half baked which is almost been hit plan on. I like to mix it with chopper to make a great lid color and in the crease I like to use tease and YDK in the outer area.
The new palette I have not used yet because, I wanted to take pictures of it. I think this amazing and beautiful. Just looking at it I get excited about it. I love the rose gold ish tones of this and this can look good in different ways. It all depends on how you use it. Just by looking at it I love how trick looks, along with buzz and nooner is a amazing matte color. Blackheart will look great as a liner. For blue eyes purples and pick can help make them pop so, just playing and working with the palette is going to be the fun part.

I know some people have been talking about how they gave out samples like this with the third palette. I have to kind of agree the others cam with travel sized stuff which was nice to use when traveling. Now do we really buy the palettes for the extra stuff that it comes with. It is nice to get something else along with the palette and it can be still used for travel or whenever I run out of primer and forget to get more it nice to have.
In the end I love the Urban Decay brand and when I want to buy something special for myself or get gifts I am very happy to get from this brand. Also when looking at the palettes I missed the eye liners that go with the palettes!!! I like that idea because I am an eyeliner lover and I really want to get my hands on one or two of them! Just has a heads up!!!
