Bronzer!

When I was first starting in makeup in middle school they only thing I cared about was making sure my eyes were as dark as they could be. I think everyone goes though that when they are starting in makeup or maybe it was the time. I also though it was if you had blush on you would look like a clown but things have changed. I am in love with bronzer now and I love my drug store ones I only have three that I use and change them out every once in awhile.

The first one is an ELF one. It is the blush and bronzer set. This is great for traveling because it is a two in one kind of thing. This one is a little dark for me in the winter time but in the summer it is prefect color. The down side is that it does have a little shimmer in it I feel like and I love matte bronzers.
This is another one from ELF and this is an all shimmer bronzer but it is great from doing high light and I will use this in the summer and not a blush it makes a nice pretty shimmer look look for summer.
This is a new one in my bronzer family and it has what I have been wearing most of the month. It is a good matte bronzer and I got it on cut prices at Target and it is good but I would not pay full price for it.
My favorite bronzer is the NYC bronzer in sunny. I have had it for awhile and I use it all the time and I love it. Out of all of them it is the one I was go for when doing my makeup.

October Makeup and Favorites!

I have been so busy with my wedding i haven't had much time to work on this blog as much as I would like to but I have found a new way I have been doing my makeup that I have been loving this month. I have been taking the time to try new things but I still keep somethings the same. This is a look of what makeup I have been using all month and I now have some new favorites!
The new Maybelline fit me shine free foundation stick has been my new favorite because, it is very bendable and has great coverage. You can also build it up to do as much or as little as you want.
The new bronzer I have been using is the Physicians Formula bronze booster. I have in the medium/dark to me it comes off the same as my NYC bronzer in Sunny. I have been using it for about a week and it is going to take me a little more time till I know if I like it or not.
This is another new thing that I been loving for my under eyes. It is for puff eyes and this has been working great for my under eye area.
The blush I can not stop using is the Benefit blush in Rockateur. It is the perfect rose gold color and I love using the brush that came with it because, it hits the cheek bones just right and in the morning I pull this one out everyday.
I love the Naked 2 palette! I normally like warmer colors but I have been using this palette more trying to play with the cooler colds. Lately I have been using foxy as the highlight, half baked all over the lid, chopper in the crease, and snakebite in the outer V.  I have also been using a navy blue liner to line my eyes and taking a mix or chopper and half baked on the lower lash line.

The Start!

Many people have a start to their journeys and mine was not to long ago. I started working at a Boy Scout Day Camp when I was 14 years old and it was the things that made me who I am today. The people I worked with showed me it was okay to be who I am and not to hind from that. Fast forward to the summer when I was 16. I was one of the guys. They wanted to hang out with me and they all treated me like a little sister. That wasn't the bad part though that summer I was wearing one of my friends who was a guys name tag and my hair was pulled back into a pony tail and we all had to wear the scout clothes that made us all look like guys. Well a little boy came up to me and asked if I was a girl or a boy and from there it became a joke that I was a guy. I had it at the end of the summer and i wanted to do something that made me look like a girl and make my natural beauty come out so, I started playing with make up and hair. I would spend hours on YouTube watching video after video of girls doing make up and hair till I knew how to do it. That next summer I would do my hair. I would on a Shooting Sports range and I could get away with curling or doing whatever I wanted to my hair and I would do very little make up and it made a difference. Not only was I a girl who worked in a pretty much boys only club but when I put the extra time into the girls who would come on family days would want to be like me. I wasn't afraid of getting dirty but I did it in away that I still could keep the girlyness to it and show that even though I was working in a camp I could still look like a girl with out over doing it or getting mistaken for a boy in the clothes. It seems like a strange story but it what helped me find one of my many loves in life and hopefully I can start making videos and putting them up as well as my blog.
